2 Artist Blogs to Follow for Events and Home Decor Inspiration

Being an artist involves so much work behind the studio scenes to get seen.  And if you're creating artwork (like me) not only for personal growth and desire, but to sell and support a lifestyle, there's even more pressure to constantly gain exposure to potential customers and supporters.

Last month, my art practice was made a little bit easier when I was approached by two very different blog sites, with opportunities for me to participate in their features.  When chances like this come around, it's like a small sigh of relief.  Knowing that someone is watching out there, my work is reaching new eyes and getting a positive response is payment in itself.  Check out the following articles and websites where you can find other artists and support an artist community in your own way.  I hope you enjoy what you find!

1. Redfin is a place for anyone interested in home.  Whether you're buying a home, renting, or wanting to learn - this site has it all.  And as an artist who's work is focused on creating pieces for the home and designed space, Redfin's blog feed is seriously a rabbit hole, I could spend all day reading it.  Please take a moment to find my contribution to the article "22 Unique Ways to Bring Texture into your Apartment." and be freshly inspired for your decorating needs for Spring.

2. Feedspot is an online content reader website.  It allows you to keep track of the websites you visit the most, so you don't miss anything that matters to you.  When they graciously included me in their recent art blog "35 Best Vancouver Art Blogs and Websites" I was inspired to follow and learn about so many other artists included in their list.  Thank you Feedspot for showing us that Vancouver is full of inspiring artists and events that give life to our lives, and this city.

Follow my blog for more upcoming articles that will feature not only what's new for Dana Mooney Art
